Tactical specters: collective exhibit with Anne Le Troter (2020, visual arts)

As part of ¡Viva Villa!, Anne Le Troter (2020, visual arts) takes part in the group exhibition Tactical Specters, which brings together a group of artists exploring the persistence of voices from the past and their impact on our contemporary narratives. How do the spirits of the past continue to haunt our present? Inspired by the concept of “hauntology” developed by Jacques Derrida in Spectres de Marx, this exhibition questions the contradictions inherited from history, from colonialism to the illusions of modernity.
