About the event
“雪 月 花 – Setsugetsuka –“, a solo exhibition by Mona Oren, presented at Gallery SUGATA from January 16 to February 1, 2026, and curated by Yuki Kajikawa, unfolds a body of works made of Japanese wax and washi paper, created during the artist’s residency at Villa Kujoyama. Inspired by Japanese nature, these pieces invite subtle contemplation, where material captures the ephemeral—hovering between silence, light, and vegetal breath.
