Project
Gigan(義眼)
Gigan explores the complex mechanism of vision in the automation age. Through an immersion in the tools of technology, this film examines transformations within the contemporary agricultural landscape, as “seen” by the machines that shape it.
Through this non-anthropocentric lens, Gigan considers the power dynamics that are inherent to these automated environments, where the tools of surveillance and control define new “cyborg landscapes”, devoid of human presence.
