Exhibit: IN VIVO

As part of ¡ Viva Villa !, Aurélie Pétrel & Vincent Roumagnac (2020, visual arts & theater) are taking part in the IN VIVO exhibition. This group show showcases the living memories of the art center through a fruitful dialogue between works by artists of different generations, within the reconfigured spaces of the two factories, Creux de l’Enfer and May. Works by major figures on the international art scene rub shoulders with those by younger artists, created as part of residencies in Thiers or around the world. The IN VIVO exhibition revives the striking experiences of the past in the light of the questions that run through artistic expression today. It highlights the vital forces at the art center – a place of commitment and constant reinvention – that have been driving the factory valley for forty years.
